As Construction equipment becomes bigger in size, hydraulic
cylinders on them also become larger and heavier. Under such
circumstances a suitable machine is demanded to facilitate
assembling and disassembling such big cylinders. Greater torque
is required for fastening and loosening nuts of the piston
in hydraulic cylinders. MARUMA has designed and introduced
the MCS-2 into the market to meet such requirements.
Now assembling and disassembling cylinders and also fastening
and loosening nuts of the piston in the cylinders, even on
Komatsu D475 and CAT D11 tractors is being done quickly, safely
and surely on this stand.
Structure
The service stand consists of a frame, torque frame unit,
vise, piston rod, jack, removing stand, sliding cylinder jack,
hydraulic pump and torque gauge.
The head of the torque frame unit rotates about a maximum
of 30 degrees at a time. It has the drive shaft at the centre
of the head. Installing the drive adapter and socket, it can
tighten and loosen nuts of the piston. The maximum torque
generated goes up to 4000 kgf.m.
This stand allows not only assembling and disassembling of
big and heavy cylinders easily and safely keeping it at the
horizontal position, but it also allows easy alignment when
assembling the cylinder and prevents damage to the packing.
